Si DR. KATRINA FLORCRUZ ay isang pediatrician, o doktor na espesyalista sa kalusugan ng mga sanggol, bata at teenagers.

Si Dr. Katrina ay nagtapos ng Doctor of Medicine (MD) sa Faculty of Medicine, University of Santo Tomas (UST). Siya ay nag-specialty training sa Department of Pediatrics, Capitol Medical Center at isang Diplomate ng Philippine Pediatric Society.

Sa kasalukuyan, siya ay consultant sa Diliman Doctors Hospital at The Medical Clinic-SM Sta. Mesa na matatagpuan sa Quezon City, Philippines. Siya rin ay Visiting Consultant sa The Medical City – Ortigas at Capitol Medical Center.

Bilang Health Communications expert, si Dr. Katrina ay naging Senior Medical Editor for Philippines ng MIMS Doctor, isang print at online medical magazine na nababasa ng mahigit 30,000 health professionals sa Asya at mga karatig na bansa.

Siya ay naging bahagi ng Doctors on TV  sa UNTV  Public Service Channel. Siya ang naging segment host ng BabyTalk, kung saan siya ay tumatalakay ng kalusugan ng mga bata.

Layunin ni Dr. Katrina na palaganapin ang maayos at praktikal na kaalaman sa mga kababayang Pilipino. Dahil dito, siya ay nakiki-isa sa League, isang grupo ng mga Pilipinong Doktor na pinangungunahan ni Doc Willie Ong, ang kilalang doktor (Cardiologist) na naglilingkod sa pamamagitan ng social media. Sa kanyang Facebook page na Dr Katrina Florcruz, siya ay nagbibigay ng libreng payo at health tips tungkol sa pag-aalaga ng bata, parenting, at buhay pamilya.

Siya ay nakatira sa Manila, Philippines.

About Dr. Katrina

DR. KATRINA FLORCRUZ is a pediatrician, a medical doctor who specializes on infant, child, and teenage health.

Dr. Katrina obtained her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Santo Tomas (UST). She pursued specialty training in pediatrics with the Department of Pediatrics, Capitol Medical Center. She is also a Diplomate of the Philippine Pediatric Society.

At present, she is a consultant at Diliman Doctors Hospital and The Medical City-SM Sta. Mesa both located in Quezon City, Philippines. She is also a Visiting Consultant at The Medical City-Ortigas and Capitol Medical Center.

As a Health Communications Expert, Dr. Katrina served as the Senior Medical Editor for Philippines of MIMS Doctor, an online and print magazine which is read by more than 30,000 health professionals across Asia-Pacific.

She was also a regular segment host for Doctors on TV, a show on UNTV Public Service Channel. In her segment BabyTalk, she discussed various concerns and issues on child health.

It is Dr. Katrina’s mission to give practical and sound medical knowledge to her Filipino countrymen. Because of this, she is one with the vision of the League, a group of Filipino Doctors under the leadership of Doc Willie Ong, a well-known doctor (Cardiologist) who offers public service to Filipinos through social media. In her Facebook page Dr Katrina Florcruz, she provides free health tips on child health, parenting, and family life.

She lives in Manila, Philippines.
